Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is recruiting Independent Prescribing Pharmacists for a permanent hybrid role. You’ll spend three days each week delivering remote consultations for our Boots Online Doctor team and two days in Boots Healthcare Centres providing face-to-face clinical services.

You must hold GPhC registration as a Pharmacist and an Independent Prescribing qualification with at least six months’ experience.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration as Pharmacist required.
• Independent Prescribing qualification with at least 6 months experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Able to work autonomously within your scope of practice.
• Excellent consultation and communication skills, remotely and in person.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe remote consultations and clinical assessments.
• Make evidence-based prescribing decisions within your scope.
• Provide treatment, advice, safety-netting and referrals.
• Deliver face-to-face clinical and pharmacy services in Boots Healthcare Centre.
• Assess, treat and support patients using your IP qualification.
• Collaborate with Pharmacists, Prescribers and healthcare teams for a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain patient safety standards and clinical governance.
• Support growth and development of digital and Healthcare Centre services.
