Job summary

KR8 Advisory is seeking an experienced Personal Insolvency Associate to deliver timely insolvency services for Bankruptcy, IVA, and estate cases. You will report to Managers, Directors and Partners while managing your own caseload and guiding junior team members.

The role includes attending meetings, preparing minutes, maintaining referrer and client relationships, and confidentiality. Ideally 2 years of personal insolvency experience, with study support for CPI/JIEB and potential for further

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience within personal insolvency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage a portfolio of personal insolvency cases.
• Have good knowledge of Bankruptcies and IVAs; knowledge of corporate insolvency interactions is a benefit.
• Draft necessary reports to unsecured creditors / secured creditors / creditors’ committees and the Court.
• Oversee retention of title, secured, preferential and unsecured claims with assistance as necessary.
• Carry out investigations to uncover preferences / transactions at undervalue, etc.
• Maintain books and records inventories and safeguard, removal and storage of such from premises.
• Maximise asset realisations and pursue recoveries cost-effectively.
• Process banking and cheque requests to ensure estate monies are handled correctly.
• Complete VAT returns and reclaims.
• Monitor costs to ensure fees are drawn at appropriate stages.
