Job summary

The Sheffield College is seeking a People Business Partner for a fixed term maternity cover until 31/03/2028. This is a hybrid role with 2 days on site and a salary of £41,561 - £48,529 per annum.

You will work closely with the College Management Team and Director of People Experience and Operations to diagnose opportunities, drive performance and engagement, and design outstanding people solutions aligned to the college's aims.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality People advisory service to meet business needs and contribute to strategy.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders, influence and provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, GDPR and regulations across the College.
• Maintain clear communication to deliver a consistent People Experience service.
• Work collaboratively and manage your designated areas with performance focus.
• Keep up-to-date with HR trends and policy changes affecting staff.
• Provide detailed advice on employee relations (Grievance, Disciplinary, Absence, Performance).
• Develop and maintain People policies and toolkit for managers to deliver the People Strategy.
• Support safeguarding and promote welfare of staff, students and visitors.
