Job summary

The CFO HQ is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller for a part-time role in Fareham. You will own the complete finance function for a growing ecommerce business selling via Amazon, eBay, Shopify and other platforms.

This standalone position combines day-to-day bookkeeping with high-level reporting, forecasting and VAT management. We value a proactive finance professional who can operate at transactional and strategic levels, with OSS/IOSS knowledge considered beneficial.

Qualifications

• Hands-on financial controller with end-to-end ownership of the finance function.
• Proficient bookkeeping and management accounting experience.
• Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Forecasting, budgeting and VAT compliance experience.
• OSS/IOSS knowledge beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete finance function for the business.
• Conduct day-to-day bookkeeping and month-end close.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports for directors.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and VAT processes across platforms.
• Ensure ecommerce VAT reporting and reconciliations are accurate.
