Joseph Joseph Ltd is seeking a talented Structural Packaging Designer to join our in-house Brand & Packaging team in London. You will report to the Director of Packaging and drive structural packaging design for consumer goods across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include creating 2D structures, developing 3D CAD assemblies, and producing prototypes and cutter guides for manufacturing, while collaborating with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance with packaging legislation.

Qualificações

• Degree in Product Design or similar creative discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong 3D drawing/rendering with SolidWorks and KeyShot.
• Competent in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Create initial 2D packaging structures, specs and quotation docs.
• Build detailed packaging assemblies in 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
• Translate to final specs and cutter guides for manufacturing.
• Create 3D packaging prototypes to illustrate concepts.
• Design cardboard retail displays and pallet displays for projects.
• Maintain packaging database for all SKUs and related tasks.
• Collaborate with suppliers/manufacturers for cost and manufacturability.
• Assess packaging legislation impact and adapt as needed.
• Maintain systems and processes to support reporting on packaging laws.
• Assist wider 2D Brand & Packaging team with design, artwork and materials.
• Create, manage and maintain standardised specification documents.
• Continuously optimise packaging design process and explore new materials.
