Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a WCA Registered Nurse to perform nursing assessments and provide clinical support in a hybrid Birmingham-based role. The position involves conducting assessments and generating WCA reports to inform DWP decisions, with training and ongoing mentorship offered.

The role requires an NMC-registered nurse with post-registration experience in adult or mental health care, excellent communication, and the ability to produce detailed reports.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• You MUST have the right to work in the UK - sponsorships not available.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects daily life.
• Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help the DWP determine eligibility for benefits.
• Develop clinical knowledge with regular feedback and supervision.
