Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in the UK is seeking a Lead Network Architect to design and govern network, security and infrastructure delivery patterns across a vast hybrid estate. You will influence cloud, data centre and wide area connectivity to support millions of customers and thousands of colleagues daily.

The role sits within Core Infrastructure and offers a hybrid work pattern with two days on-site. Expect collaboration with engineering, cyber security, platform teams and suppliers to deliver

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience crafting network architectures across large-scale, regulated organisations.
• Broad knowledge of modern networking technologies spanning data centre, cloud, campus, office, branch, wide area, internet and partner connectivity domains.
• Experience producing and assuring architecture work including target state architectures, option assessments, architecture decision records, standards, patterns and governance submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture activities for the Bank network connecting data centres, hosting locations, offices and external services.
• Define reusable connectivity patterns; guide migration approaches for major transformation activity.
• Collaborate across architecture, delivery, engineering and cyber defence to ensure secure, resilient and scalable designs.
