Job summary

VIQU Limited in Birmingham is seeking a Microsoft 365 & Cloud Engineer to help modernise the organisation's IT landscape during a cloud transformation.

Role focuses on hands-on delivery of Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID with emphasis on endpoint management, security controls and collaboration tools. You will operate within a small IT team in a hybrid environment.

The position offers a challenging, project-focused workload with influence over cloud strategy and a salary up to £46,000.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Experience implementing and improving Intune and endpoint management.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot and device management.
• Migration experience from on-premise/hybrid to cloud.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange.
• Understanding of Microsoft security technologies including Defender and Conditional Access.

Responsibilities

• Support migration from on-premise/hybrid to a cloud-managed Microsoft environment.
• Configure and optimise Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID environments.
• Enhance endpoint management, Autopilot, policies and compliance controls.
• Review and improve existing Microsoft environments and security controls.
• Support migration of users, devices and services from legacy infrastructure.
• Contribute to security initiatives including Defender and vulnerability management.
• Support SharePoint, Purview and collaboration capabilities.
• Assist with remaining on-premise infrastructure during transition.
• Collaborate across project delivery and BAU within a small IT team.
