Job summary

Clarke Energy in Liverpool is seeking a Mechanical and Piping Designer to deliver detailed designs for energy infrastructure. You will create 3D models and fabrication drawings, working with engineers and project teams from concept through installation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years piping design experience, OND/ONC in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD suite and Navis Review. Hybrid working in the UK is available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five years' piping design experience and detailing.
• OND/ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 3D, Plant P&ID, Plant 3D and Navis Review.
• Strong IT skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Create designs from concept to completion for mechanical and piping systems.
• Produce 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support tender designs and develop them into complete design packages.
• Visit sites for surveys and gather data to support as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and subcontractors.
