Job summary

Clarke Energy, a Rehlko company, is seeking a Mechanical and Piping Designer to deliver high‑quality mechanical and piping designs for power generation projects across the UK. From concept through installation, you will create 3D models and detailed drawings, collaborating with engineers and project teams to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in piping design and detailing.
• OND/ONC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial mechanical systems and processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D Modelling, Plant P&ID, Plant 3D and Navis Review.
• Strong IT skills and MS Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Create mechanical and piping designs from concept to detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce general arrangement and fabrication drawings, pipework layouts, equipment skid designs.
• Support tender and execution packages from concept through delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams; perform site visits and surveys.
• Develop and maintain libraries and standardised design solutions; ensure safety and quality compliance.
