Job summary

Southern Water is seeking an experienced Maximo Application Specialist to join their Wholesale Platforms Team in Falmer, Brighton (Hybrid: 2 days in office). You will manage, support, develop, and optimise the Maximo Application Suite to drive business value across the organisation and partner network.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with MAS v8/v9 administration and configuration.
• Strong MAS architecture knowledge including OpenShift and cloud environments.
• Expertise with Work Management, Asset/Inventory/Purchasing modules in MAS.
• Experience with MAS Monitor, Health, Predict, and Mobile.
• Proficiency with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
• Experience building and supporting REST and SOAP integrations.
• Knowledge of databases including DB2, SQL, Oracle.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in asset management application environments.
• Strong governance, data quality, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support, maintenance, and admin for MAS and related apps.
• Manage Maximo infrastructure for stability and performance.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Act as primary Maximo SME for issues and initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors to implement improvements.
• Design, test, and document changes and integrations.
• Support Maximo projects from design to implementation.
• Develop and run testing for releases.
• Apply new releases and enhancements with config and integration work.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and value.
• Maintain databases and reporting infrastructure.
• Create technical and functional documentation.
• Deliver user training to Maximo users.
• Develop and support integrations and automation.
• Engage stakeholders across business and tech.
• Ensure alignment with architecture and governance.
