Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Engineer in Hertfordshire to own and evolve testing strategies across development and production, including RF systems. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and operations to resolve issues and deliver robust test solutions.

The role requires strong documentation skills, ability to mentor junior staff, and the clearance to work on defence projects. Hybrid working with on-site attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacture, test and fault finding.
• Strong understanding of electrical, electronic and RF measurement principles.
• Experience with product development lifecycles in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to produce technical reports and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support the introduction of new test systems from development to production readiness.
• Diagnose and resolve test issues at system, sub-assembly and circuit card level.
• Develop test specifications, operator instructions and supporting technical documentation.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and operational teams to overcome technical challenges.
• Contribute to production readiness activities and ensure configuration control is maintained.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
