Peak Technologies is expanding its machine vision capability and seeking a talented Machine Vision Engineer to join the growing team. You will design, develop, install, and support innovative machine vision solutions across retail and logistics, balancing software work with customer engagement.

You’ll work directly with customers to understand challenges, configure vision systems, test thoroughly, deploy on site or remotely, and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Valid passport and ability to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing machine vision solutions for retail and logistics environments.
• Developing software applications and integrations to support customer requirements.
• Configuring cameras, vision systems, and related hardware.
• Collaborating with customers to understand operational challenges and define technical solutions.
• Testing and validating systems to ensure real-world reliability.
• Deploying and commissioning solutions remotely and on customer sites.
• Creating technical documentation, user guides, and installation procedures.
• Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems.
• Collaborating with sales to assess project requirements, timescales, and costs.
• Researching and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance our offerings.
• Driving continuous improvement through customer feedback.
