Job summary

Bydand Recruitment Group, recruiting for an expanding Leeds corporate team, is seeking a Corporate Solicitor (M&A, PE and Corporate Transactions) to advise on a broad range of high-quality transactions.

The role targets newly qualified solicitors or associates with up to four years' PQE, with exposure to M&A and a platform to grow in the corporate sector, including health and health tech businesses.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified solicitor or Associate with up to 4 years' PQE.
• Corporate transactional experience gained during a training contract or following qualification.
• Exposure to M&A is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and health tech businesses is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Advising on company, business, and asset acquisitions and disposals.
• Drafting and negotiating share purchase and business asset purchase agreements.
• Supporting private equity investments and management transactions.
• Conducting legal due diligence and managing data-room reviews.
• Assisting with disclosure exercises and preparing disclosure letters.
• Drafting transaction documents and completion materials.
• Supporting IPOs, equity fundraisings, and other public company matters.
• Advising on corporate reorganisations, joint ventures, and shareholders’ agreements.
• Assisting with business-development initiatives, pitches, and tenders.
