Job summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing consultancy. This client-facing role designs and builds scalable cloud-based data platforms using AWS, Databricks and Agentic AI.

You will collaborate with clients to design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines, contribute to data architectures across projects, and leverage modern tooling for data quality and orchestration. Hybrid work in London with enterprise-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and DBT.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Databricks experience.
• Knowledge of AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS and DynamoDB.
• Familiar with Terraform or AWS CDK, Git and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in emerging technologies, especially Agentic AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
• Develop robust data architectures and support the full software development lifecycle.
• Build tooling for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and data quality.
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Explore and apply emerging technologies to improve data engineering processes.
