Job summary

Urbis Schréder, a leading lighting solutions provider in the UK, seeks a Sales Support and Lighting Engineer to support the Commercial Sales team. You will develop tailored lighting solutions and assist in strategic initiatives driving key account growth and retention.

Key responsibilities include producing lighting calculations, creating visual renders, and delivering technical support and site surveys to enable project success. Hybrid working and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role; training provided.
• Strong customer focus with ability to build credible relationships.
• Commercial awareness and proactive attitude toward objectives.
• Target-driven mindset with commitment to delivering results.
• Effective time-management and organisational capabilities.
• Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience in the lighting industry is desirable.
• Project management abilities with multiple concurrent tasks.
• Engineering- or design-based education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce lighting calculations primarily using Lighting Reality and Dialux.
• Create high-quality visual renders, proposals, and customer-facing presentations.
• Conduct site demonstrations to showcase product performance.
• Attend customer meetings and technical discussions representing the company.
• Provide accurate and timely technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake site surveys with detailed lux level assessments.
• Participate in and deliver presentations at lighting seminars, exhibitions, and CPD events.
