Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a lending and underwriting transformation for a major financial services programme. Based in Reading, the role is hybrid with 2-3 days on site per week.

You will map current-state processes, translate business needs into technology requirements, and work with a third-party platform provider to bridge business and technical gaps.

Contract is 3 months with likely extension, daily rate 500-585 inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Analysis experience within lending, credit or financial services.
• Hands-on experience of underwriting processes and credit risk.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into clear, actionable technology requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document current-state lending and underwriting processes.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into clear, structured requirements.
• Develop a strong understanding of the new lending platform and its capabilities.
• Define future-state processes and working practices.
• Identify gaps between existing processes and platform functionality.
• Document required configuration, functionality and potential platform enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, internal BAs and the technology provider.
• Support requirements relating to lending metrics and, credit data / bureau integrations.
• Contribute to the wider transformation programme, with the role potentially evolving toward more project-focused support as the programme progresses.
