Job summary

Our client, a dynamic organisation in the Construction & Real Estate sector, is hiring a Legal Contracts Advisor for a permanent, part-time role in Hoddesdon with hybrid working after probation. You will evaluate and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, track review stages in a CRM, and prepare documents to be signed by stakeholders.

A law degree is essential; construction experience is advantageous, and strong communication, proofreading, and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in proofreading and touch-typing.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Collaborative spirit, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and negotiate contractual agreements with clients and suppliers before relationships begin.
• Record and track review stages and status of contracts through a CRM system until sign-off.
• Conduct contract reviews and negotiations with track changes and comments for audit trails.
• Ensure compliance with company policy requirements for all approved suppliers.
• Communicate contractual obligations to Project Consultants and Project Management teams.
• File all client and supplier contract documents in a centralised Information Management System.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and finalise contracts for signature.
• Liaise with the legal team for guidance and escalation when necessary.
• Coordinate with the Insurance Broker regarding coverage information and collateral reviews.
• Work with senior management to resolve disputes or complaints with clients or suppliers.
• Manage completion and submission of PQQs to maintain client presence on supply chains.
