Job summary

Silicon Logic UK Ltd. in Luton is seeking a Solution Architect to lead end-to-end design for Airline Operations, coordinating multiple product teams to deliver a coherent, scalable solution.

You will shape architecture across domains, establish guardrails, and ensure technical integrity while enabling fast delivery. The role requires 6–8 years in solution architecture, strong communication, and hands-on experience with domain-driven design, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native technologies

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in solution architecture space
• Strong background in domain-driven design and event-driven architecture
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading end-to-end solutions across multiple teams or domains
• Exposure to airline operations is desirable
• Strong understanding of modern architecture (cloud-native AWS, microservices, APIs) and data models

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture leadership for a mission team, defining architecture vision and aligning product teams
• Shape end-to-end solutions across platforms and domains for consistency and alignment
• Establish guardrails, references, patterns, and reusable components
• Partner with Product Leads, Tech Leads and Delivery Leads to ensure cohesive design and delivery
• Ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, standards and reviews
• Identify cross-team dependencies and mitigate risks early
• Communicate decisions clearly to technical and business stakeholders
• Coach teams on architectural thinking and reusable patterns
• Define mission-level architecture scope and evolution roadmap
• Design cross-team integrations and data flows, resolving gaps early
• Provide clear direction to leadership and teams; communicate trade-offs and risks
• Lead governance activities and ensure solution assurance and compliance
• Align multiple products to shared design principles and contracts
• Champion architecture best practices including security, reliability and cost optimisation
• Contribute to maturing the solution architecture practice
• Familiarity with airline/transport operations systems is highly desirable
• Transform business requirements into IT solutions
