Job summary

RGB Network is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee the water and drainage team in Salford, Manchester. The role focuses on leading engineers, delivering projects from design to delivery, and providing technical direction across drainage, water and AMP programmes.

The successful candidate will have 7–10+ years in civil engineering with a strong drainage or water background, and a track record of mentoring engineers while managing budgets and client relations.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in drainage or water.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of engineers across drainage, water and wider civil infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across project delivery.
• Take ownership of projects and technical packages from design through to delivery.
• Work across water, regulated water, drainage and AMP programmes.
• Support the delivery of CSO / storm overflow and wider regulated water schemes.
• Manage technical delivery, programmes, budgets and client requirements.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.
• Help develop the team’s technical capability as workload grows.
