Job summary

Cervus is seeking a motivated Junior UI/UX Engineer to blend UX design with front-end development for data‑driven systems. The role supports operators, analysts, and mission‑critical workflows across the UK and international markets.

The successful candidate will work on intuitive interfaces, real‑time dashboards, and seamless UI integration with backend services within a flexible hybrid setup, including travel within the UK and overseas.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with REST APIs, WebSockets and event-driven architectures.
• Experience building data-rich, live-updating dashboards and interfaces.
• Solid grounding in UX principles, interaction design, and usability heuristics.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs and workflows into clear, intuitive interface designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for new features.
• Conduct UX reviews and lightweight usability testing.
• Maintain and evolve the design system for consistency across products.
• Build responsive, performant UI components and visualisations.
• Integrate UI with backend services and APIs.
