Job summary

Halfords Group in Redditch is seeking a UX/UI Designer who is passionate about accessible, usable interfaces and cutting-edge UI design. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into user journeys that maximise customer satisfaction and drive business value.

The role requires a portfolio of UX/UI projects, proficiency with Figma or similar tools, and a Bachelor's in HCI or related field.

Portfolio demonstrates accessibility-focused design and research.
Experience collaborating with product, engineering and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into design solutions.
Work within UX guidelines to ensure consistency across user journeys.
Use Halfords UI kit and brand guidelines in all design work.
Conduct user research, concept testing and usability testing; translate findings into design decisions.
Report weekly on time spent and project progress; manage scope and timelines.
Contribute to large-scale transformational projects while improving existing functions.
