Onyx-Conseil in London is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join our tech-driven team with a hybrid work pattern (2 days in-office). You will develop software across Python, Go and TypeScript, process live and historical sports datasets and support cloud-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a technical or numerate discipline.
• Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and software systems.
• Experience with at least one programming language and SQL.
• Interest in sports data and cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain software using Python, Go and TypeScript.
• Process, analyse and validate live and historical sports datasets.
• Support cloud infrastructure, applications and production systems.
• Write SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Troubleshoot software, data and infrastructure-related issues.
• Contribute to technical projects, documentation and system improvements.
