Job summary

Seetec is seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join the IT Services team in Hockley. This hands-on role supports the technology platforms serving the business and customers. Hybrid working is considered, with a salary between £47,500 and £52,500 per year and several benefits.

The position is full-time, 37 hours per week, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Opportunity to contribute across server, cloud, security, and networking domains within a collaborative IT environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as an infrastructure professional.
• Strong technical expertise and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage priorities and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational health, security, resilience, and lifecycle of infrastructure services.
• Work across server, cloud, virtualization, identity, storage, backup, networking, and Microsoft technologies to keep environments secure, compliant, and highly available.
• Take ownership of infrastructure maintenance, patching, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery testing, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Work with our Service Desk, Cyber Security, Cloud & Infrastructure teams, suppliers, and customers to prevent incidents, resolve complex technical issues, and deliver infrastructure improvements.
