Job summary

Metro Bank plc is seeking an experienced cyber threat intelligence professional to deliver timely, accurate outputs and translate threat information into actionable guidance for SOC, detection engineering, and incident response teams.

You will maintain horizon threat assessments for financial services, contribute to strategy, and collaborate with risk, legal, HR, and security colleagues. Hybrid working available around role and home life.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years’ experience in cyber security, threat intelligence, SOC operations, incident response, or related field.
• Recognised industry qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISMP, GCTI, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms and OSINT reporting for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist cyber threat intelligence outputs aligned to intelligence requirements.
• Translate threat information into tactical/operational intelligence for SOC and security teams.
• Produce clear CTI reporting, briefings, and recommendations for detection, response, and remediation.
