Page Personnel is recruiting an Internal Auditor for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Birmingham with hybrid working. The role covers risk-based financial and operational audits across UK sites, evaluating governance and internal controls, and supporting continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will be a professionally qualified accountant with strong audit experience and excellent stakeholder management, able to travel to sites across the UK as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIA/CIMA.
• Experience in internal or external audit or assurance.
• Plan, execute and report on risk-based audits from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of financial, operational and compliance controls.
• Experience in multi-site organisations, ideally manufacturing/FMCG.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Aufgaben

• Deliver risk-based financial and operational audits across multiple UK locations.
• Assess governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Validate internal control self-assessment activity and challenge control effectiveness.
• Prepare and present audit reports with root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across business functions.
• Monitor implementation of agreed actions and support business improvement.
• Contribute to development of the Internal Audit function.
