Your Ambition is seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our IT Services team in Hockley, with hybrid working considered. The role covers server, cloud, identity, storage, backup, networking, and Microsoft tech, ensuring secure, compliant, and highly available infrastructure.

You will manage patching, vulnerability remediation, DR testing, and lifecycle activities, collaborating with Service Desk, Cyber Security, and suppliers to prevent incidents and deliver infrastructure

Qualifikationen

• Experience in infrastructure, systems, cloud operations or senior 3rd-line engineering.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, AD, Azure, Entra ID, M365, virtualization, storage, backup, networking and patching.
• Experience patching, remediation, hardening, and lifecycle upgrades.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for live environments.

Aufgaben

• Maintain server, cloud, identity, storage, backup, network and related infrastructure services.
• Deliver patching, maintenance and upgrade activities across platforms.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and security risks.
• Manage server lifecycle including upgrades, migrations and decommissioning.
• Monitor backups, perform recovery testing and DR exercises.
• Provide 3rd-line support for complex infrastructure incidents.
• Drive operational improvement projects and support change activity.
• Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
