Job summary

Peregrine is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT team in Nottingham, supporting a broad hybrid infrastructure estate across on-premise and cloud environments, with a hands-on focus on Windows/Linux, AWS and VMware.

You will deliver improvements, migrations, and project work, maintain documentation in Confluence, and collaborate with stakeholders while learning new technologies and communicating clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Proven experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
Hands-on AWS cloud administration and design.
Strong Windows Server administration experience.
Good networking knowledge across on-premise and cloud infra.
Experience using Confluence for documentation.
Experience with ITSM tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support, administer and maintain Windows Server, Linux/Unix and AWS infrastructure.
Maintain networking technologies across on-premise and cloud environments.
Deliver infrastructure improvements, upgrades, migrations and project work.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation (Confluence).
Ensure knowledge transfer to team members and proper handover.
Work within ITSM processes using Jira or ServiceNow.
Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and business stakeholders.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical users.
