Asda Stores Ltd. is seeking an Import Planning Analyst to oversee import stock flow across our General Merchandise and George supply chains. You will forecast volumes, coordinate with depots, logistics teams, freight forwarders and hauliers to keep products moving efficiently.

You will analyze data and build Excel reports to support business decisions, forecast accuracy, and cost management across the import network. This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in our Home Office.

• Import Planning Analyst will plan and coordinate import stock flow across General Merchandise and George supply chains.
• Forecast volumes and manage stock availability to keep products moving efficiently.

• Forecast and plan import volumes to support trading activity and seasonal demand.
• Work with internal teams, depots, central logistics, hauliers, shipping lines and freight forwarders to ensure efficient stock flow.
• Coordinate import activity and monitor stock availability across the network.
• Produce detention and demurrage reporting and support cost management activities.
• Develop and maintain Excel reports and dashboards to provide business insight.
