Job summary

Swiss Re is seeking an ILS & Alternative Capital Structurer in London to originate, structure and execute ILS transactions across property & casualty and life & health sectors. You will work with investment bankers, risk modellers and legal advisers to deliver sophisticated solutions in a fast-paced, global setting.

You will analyse exposures, build financial models using Monte Carlo simulations, and prepare client materials for discussions with investors and rating agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong analytical discipline (Maths, Finance, Economics) and a top academic record.
• Minimum 2–5 years of investment banking experience with complex transactions.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including Monte Carlo simulation techniques and cash flow modelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; client-facing materials.
• Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to developing new solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to origination, pricing, structuring and execution of ILS and alternative capital transactions for Swiss Re and SRCM clients.
• Collaborate with investment bankers, risk modellers, rating agencies and legal firms to ensure seamless transaction execution.
• Develop client materials and presentations for investor discussions, rating agencies and regulators.
• Analyse client exposures and perform risk-informed structuring decisions.
• Utilise Monte Carlo simulations and cash flow models to support pricing and structuring.
• Support development of new structural solutions and expand SRCM's market offering.
• Engage with clients and investors on travel to meetings, building strong relationships.
• Drive process improvements and bring fresh perspectives in a fast-moving, international environment.
