Job summary

South East Water is seeking a proactive NEBOSH-certified Health & Safety Advisor to join our Kent operations. This dynamic hybrid role splits time between the Kent Operations hub, home, and site visits across the Kent region to support H&S compliance and wellbeing initiatives.

You’ll report to the Head of H&S, provide expert risk guidance, conduct audits, lead investigations, and partner with HR on occupational health and wellbeing projects while championing safety across dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent Level 3) is essential.
• Proven track record as an H&S professional with dispersed or remote teams.
• Strong understanding of H&S management systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety guidance grounded in legislation and policy; conduct on-site engagements.
• Lead risk assessments and investigations to drive continuous improvement.
• Champion Wellbeing initiatives and support Occupational Health queries.
• Collaborate with Fleet, HR and other departments on safety initiatives.
• Monitor and audit compliance across multiple workplaces.
