Job summary

Liberty Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced HR Manager (ER & Projects) to join the People team in a hybrid role based in Cosham with travel to other locations. The role combines complex ER with hands-on HR projects, driving change and improving HR processes.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will shape the people agenda and provide trusted advice across critical initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong UK employment law knowledge and might hold CIPD qualifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive generalist HR experience with strong ER expertise.
• Experience delivering HR projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior HR advice on complex ER matters (discipline, grievance, capability, absence, performance, TUPE, change).
• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver HR projects across engagement, wellbeing, DEI, organisational development, talent and succession planning.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning, helping leaders navigate change and minimise people risk.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and ER frameworks compliant with employment law.
• Coach, mentor and develop managers and HR colleagues to strengthen capability and consistency.
• Use workforce data to identify trends, manage risk and suggest improvements to HR services.
