Job summary

CO Home Improvements seeks a Health & Safety Manager to support multiple sites across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire. You will drive health and safety compliance across showrooms, offices and customer sites, including risk assessments and audits.

The role covers a broad range of operations from retail to installation projects, with a focus on training, incident investigation, and fostering a proactive safety culture. Hybrid remote work in Wakefield is available.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, problem solving and organisational skills.
• Solid background in construction industry with CDM Regulations knowledge.
• NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications and construction background are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies across showrooms and sites.
• Carry out risk assessments, site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Deliver health and safety training and lead safety meetings.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and implement preventative measures.
• Provide practical health and safety guidance to operational teams.
• Promote a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
