Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires UK Government Security Clearance.
• Experience leading hardware delivery teams and coordinating with engineering leaders.
• Strong ability to capture demand, plan headcount and scale teams.
• Proven track record in delivering bids and projects on time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Portfolio hardware team as Workday Manager 2, with dual reporting lines to xEMs and the EDM.
• Act as an engineering operational focal point within the team, guiding project deliveries.
• Manage team to meet operational needs, assign members to best meet demand, escalate when required.
• Accurately capture and track demand, size the team to discharge project work within perimeter.
• Identify key skills with HoD and leads, enable development and training to sustain capabilities.
• Coach xEMs to improve delivery skills and plan succession.
