Job summary

Amoria Group is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager to own and evolve the Group's GRC framework. You will manage operational, commercial, regulatory and data risks, turning regulatory requirements into practical controls and processes.

The role involves leading data protection and data governance, coordinating horizon scanning, and partnering with senior leaders across the Group. You will develop assurance programmes, test controls, and deliver governance dashboards and regular

Qualifications

• Strong governance, risk or compliance background.
• Experience developing and embedding governance, risk or compliance frameworks.
• Good understanding of UK GDPR, data protection and privacy governance.
• Experience of assurance, auditing or control testing.
• Strong understanding of operational and commercial risk management.
• Experience managing risk registers, remediation actions and compliance reporting.
• Good understanding of information security governance.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex requirements into practical business processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own and continually develop the Group Governance and Risk Management frameworks.
• Manage the Group risk register with business leaders to identify, assess and mitigate risks.
• Develop a risk-based assurance programme and conduct control testing.
• Act as Group Data Protection and Data Governance Lead, owning the privacy framework with the DPO.
• Own Data Governance Framework, including master data governance and data quality standards.
• Coordinate regulatory horizon scanning and quarterly impact assessments.
• Work with Security to oversee information security risk, policies and controls.
• Own the governance calendar and ensure audits, policy reviews and training occur on time.
• Lead governance and compliance projects, including regulatory change and new governance tech.
• Develop governance and compliance dashboards and report to Exec Leadership and Board.
