Marmon Lift Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Graduate Design Engineer to join an established engineering business in the lift and vertical transportation sector. You will be trained in CAD, produce drawings, support design projects and collaborate with manufacturing and project teams in a practical engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Some experience or academic exposure to CAD software.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop your technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production of detailed engineering designs and drawings.
• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings.
• Support experienced engineers on design projects.
• Review technical drawings and specifications.
• Assist with design calculations and documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and project teams.
• Help develop and improve existing designs.
• Identify and resolve technical design issues.
• Ensure drawings meet required standards.
• Understand relevant engineering standards and regulations.
• Support multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Develop knowledge of design engineering and manufacturing processes.
