Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup in the UK is seeking a skilled Fullstack Engineer to join our Sheffield team on an initial 12‑month contract. You will design, develop, and deploy fullstack applications that improve efficiency and reduce risk, working across Python, Java, React, and Next.js.

This hybrid role requires 2–3 days on site per week. Expected rate up to £650 p/d umbrella inside IR35, with a focus on scalable microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices to support business goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python is required; familiarity with Java is a plus.
• Frontend experience with React/Next.js is essential; solid JavaScript knowledge needed.
• Experience applying microservices and event-driven architectures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fullstack applications to automate and streamline processes.
• Develop and manage backend systems primarily using Python, with Java knowledge where applicable.
• Develop and manage frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Design and implement core backend services to support other apps using scalable patterns.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and goals.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Rapid response to issues with effective problem-solving and timely delivery.
• Manage work across multiple sites and maintain coding discipline.
