Job summary

Focus Group is seeking a Front-End Developer to join our hybrid team across UK offices including Birmingham. You’ll help rebuild our website, build a design system, and translate Figma designs into production-ready Tailwind CSS.

You’ll work with designers to shape UX/UI, performance, and accessibility at scale. You’ll contribute to a modern tech stack, build reusable components, and ensure consistent UI across pages while collaborating with content and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience building front-end templates and components
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML and accessible UI
• Ability to translate design systems into production-ready code
• Experience turning designs into pixel-accurate UI

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive front-end templates and components
• Turn Figma designs into Tailwind CSS
• Own a design system and component library for site consistency
• Optimize for performance and Core Web Vitals
• Polish UI details: spacing, typography, interactions, animations
• Create editor-friendly page blocks for content teams
• Support ongoing site work: navigation, landing pages, microsites
• Keep code clean, documented, and in Git
