MBDA in Stevenage is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team delivering cutting-edge FPGA-based solutions. The role combines deep technical design expertise with strong leadership to drive excellence and timely delivery.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and verification teams, and define requirements, architecture, and verification strategies to scale capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FPGA or digital hardware design experience.
• 3–5 years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Strong RTL design, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA team and drive delivery of high-performance FPGA systems.
• Define requirements and architecture with cross-functional teams (systems, software, hardware, verification).
• Oversee design, verification methodologies, and on-time production release.
