Job summary

MBDA is recruiting an FPGA Designer to work on advanced FPGA platforms. The role involves end-to-end design life cycle, from requirements to validated implementations, across multiple projects at MBDA Bolton site.

You will contribute to architecture, verification, and integration with embedded systems, using VHDL, SystemVerilog, Simulink, and industry tools. Some on-site work and potential relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree level education required or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in FPGA design lifecycle and complex architectures.
• Proficiency with VHDL and SystemVerilog/UVM test-benches.
• Familiarity with FPGA verification tools (QuestaSim/ModelSim).

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA design from concept through validated implementation.
• Verify FPGA designs using VHDL and SystemVerilog/UVM test benches.
• Develop FPGA tests and embedded software interfaces in C.
• Document designs and configurations to a high professional standard.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
