We are seeking a detail-oriented Hybrid Financial Accountant to join a leading property organisation in Peterborough. This permanent role focuses on providing accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Accounting & Finance team.

Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to produce timely management reports.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
  • Support ad hoc financial projects as required by management.

Profile

A successful Hybrid Financial Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in financial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
