Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a Finance Business Partner to partner with the Divisional Finance Director, delivering high-quality management information and commercial insights to guide strategic decisions.

The role will prepare accurate financial data, maintain strong controls, and manage working capital, contributing to divisional success and broader group investments. Based in Yeovil with travel to other sites.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA professional with a sharp analytical mind and a forward-thinking approach to data.
• Genuine interest in the commercial side of finance and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong relationship-building and ability to gain buy-in from diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver relevant management information and commercial insight to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to ensure control compliance.
• Manage working capital, including cash flow, WIP, and billing process improvements.
• Maintain key tax control accounts and oversee payroll sign-off for finance.
• Lead divisional projects such as system integrations and acquisition activity.
• Mentor and support junior team members and promote best practices.
