Job summary

Resourcey Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the delivery of management information and financial planning within a housing-focused environment. You will partner with senior operations to influence decisions and drive performance.

Hybrid role in Lancashire with 2-3 days on site, offering a strong team, visibility, and opportunity to shape financial performance and planning across the group.

Qualifications

• Significant management accounting / operational finance experience.
• Experience within a Housing Association or similar housing environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial controls and balance sheet management.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The confidence to influence, challenge and support senior decision-making.
• Proactive approach to improving processes and performance.

Responsibilities

• Leading monthly management accounts and operational finance reporting.
• Supporting annual budgets, forecasting and financial planning.
• Providing insightful analysis and business partnering to Senior Operational teams.
• Overseeing balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
• Supporting statutory accounts and audit activity.
• Developing management information, reporting and KPI insight.
• Driving improvements to systems, processes and ways of working.
• Promoting a strong Value for Money culture.
• Providing financial oversight of key projects.
• Leading, managing and developing the Finance team.
• Building strong relationships across Finance, Operations and wider Group Business Services.
