Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is working with an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the MOD to appoint a Finance Business Partner for 12 months in Reading. The role is full-time, with 3 days on site and 2 days from home. The position pays £77.19 per hourUmbrella (inside IR35) with PAYE options available.

Key responsibilities include stakeholder relationship management, guidance to senior leaders, and delivering forecasts, budgets and business cases. Active SC/DV clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active SC/DV clearance
• Experience as a Finance Business Partner or equivalent role

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and trusted partners across accountable leads and business units.
• Representing business partners in stakeholder forums and ensuring services are delivered on time, cost and quality.
• Line manage capacity and deployment of business partner teams to support Lead Business Partners.
• Produce forecasts, budgets, procurement plans, reports and variance analysis within the business rhythm.
• Scrutinise business cases to ensure value for money and alignment with strategy and risk controls.
• Collaborate with Finance and other functions to ensure senior leadership has the right information and advice.
• Drive improvements in financial awareness and acumen across business areas and support personal development.
