You Matter is seeking a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team at our head office with hybrid working. The role covers income and expenditure processing, banking, reconciliations, reporting and general financial administration, supporting colleagues across the organisation to keep financial information accurate and timely.

Based in a professional finance environment, you will help improve systems and processes, contribute to cashflow monitoring, and support month-end activities while

Qualifikationen

• Experience working within a finance, accounting or transactional processing environment.
• Experience processing financial transactions accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Experience using finance or accounting systems.
• Experience maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Raising sales invoices and processing income transactions.
• Monitoring and allocating cash received, investigating unidentified receipts.
• Processing supplier invoices, credit notes and employee expenses.
• Supporting the preparation and processing of supplier payment runs.
• Responding to queries from suppliers, customers and colleagues across the organisation.
• Maintaining accurate debtor and creditor records.
• Supporting cashflow monitoring through timely processing of transactions.
• Assisting with month-end activities and reconciliations.
• Maintaining organised and auditable financial records.
• Supporting audit requests and providing documentation where required.
• Contributing to improvements in finance systems and ways of working.
• Participating in testing and implementation of new processes and technologies
