Job summary

Thales invites applications for a Finance Apprentice role based in Templecombe within the UK. You will study toward Level 2 Accounts Assistant and then Level 3 Assistant Accountant, learning financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management while supporting daily finance tasks.

The programme leads to a permanent role, with a strong emphasis on accounting fundamentals and real-world experience in a global technology company.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A-C) to include English and Maths.
• UK right to work required and BPSS and Security Clearance (SC) checks before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supporting finance teams with day-to-day tasks and projects.
• Helping resolve timesheet and labour booking queries.
• Supporting the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
• Assisting with cost centre reviews and management reporting.
• Helping maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Supporting project finance activities, including cost transfers and project closures.
• Assisting with financial journals, accruals, prepayments and corrections.
• Producing reports and carrying out data analysis.
