Job summary

Origin Legal is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its established Family Law team in Greater Manchester. You will inherit an existing caseload and advise clients on divorce, financial remedy, and children matters with a high degree of autonomy.

This role offers hybrid working, strong support, and clear opportunities for progression within a supportive, collaborative environment. You should have at least 3 years' PQE in family law and a client‑focussed approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE in Family Law
• Experience managing privately funded family matters
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of family law issues
• Confident handling a caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent client care and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on divorce and separation matters.
• Managing financial remedy and matrimonial finance cases.
• Handling private children matters and child arrangement disputes.
• Preparing court documentation and legal pleadings.
• Conducting advocacy at hearings where appropriate.
• Instructing and liaising with counsel and other professional advisers.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Contributing to business development and networking initiatives.
• Supporting the continued growth and profile of the Family team.
