Met Office is seeking an Estates Surveyor to lead strategic management of the property portfolio. You will ensure compliance and provide suitable accommodation to meet organisational goals.

Join our Property Management team to deliver estates strategy, tenancy matters, and data-driven cost analysis while engaging stakeholders and advising on planning. Hybrid working is supported; security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Professional membership of RICS or assocRICS or working towards membership.
• Property management experience with landlord/tenant matters.
• Ability to analyse requirements and support decision making.
• Stakeholder engagement with clear communication of complex issues.
• Strong commercial awareness to deliver value for government.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver strategic management of Met Office property portfolio.
• Ensure estate meets compliance and business requirements with suitable accommodation.
• Lead on estates strategy and portfolio performance improvements.
• Manage acquisitions, disposals, and temporary/permanent sites.
• Maintain property data using Propman, InSite and standards.
• Analyze portfolio costs and support finance with insights.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders and advisors.
