Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking an Environmental Performance Analyst based in Scotland. You’ll spend 50% of your week in the office in Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness, contributing to environmental performance across the business.

You will develop dashboards, metrics and reporting to improve data quality and support decision-making, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to drive continual improvement. The role is permanent and full-time with a competitive salary (£36,200 - £54,400) plus a

Qualifications

• A degree or relevant workplace experience in an environmental, operational or regulatory setting.
• Strong data analysis skills with experience reporting on environmental performance using data systems and visualisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Apps and other data platforms.
• Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Strong relationship-building skills with ability to engage with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and maintain Transmission environmental performance dashboards, tracking progress against business objectives and transforming complex data into meaningful, actionable insights.
• Develop and manage environmental performance metrics, ensuring targets are monitored and reported through monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.
• Create clear and engaging data visualisations and reporting materials for committees, project teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and analyse emerging trends that may affect environmental performance, providing evidence-based recommendations for continual improvement.
• Collaborate across SSEN Transmission to improve reporting processes, enhance data quality and develop innovative solutions.
