Job summary

Metro Bank (UK) is seeking an End Point Technology Lead to drive delivery and engineering of end user technologies for Windows and Mac platforms. You will ensure secure, stable services supporting a modern workplace strategy and act as the bridge between strategy and execution.

You will translate EUC direction into roadmaps, line-manage Endpoint Administrators, oversee Intune/Config Manager, and lead patching, compliance, and vulnerability remediation with Security teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise computing in regulated environments
• Proven track record leading large EUC environments
• Experience across Windows/macOS, BYOD, and cloud endpoints
• Strong automation via PowerShell on Microsoft platforms
• Mentoring engineers and leading technical teams
• Vendor and stakeholder management
• Understanding enterprise networking and security principles
• Familiarity with risk management in banking context

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and engineering of end user technologies across Windows and Mac platforms
• Translate EUC direction into operational plans and roadmaps
• Line manage Endpoint Administrators and set objectives
• Oversee endpoint management via Intune and Configuration Manager
• Lead patching, compliance, and vulnerability remediation with Security
• Own application packaging, deployment, lifecycle across Windows/Mac
• Act as technical escalation point for complex endpoint issues
• Ensure change/release/deployment processes across the endpoint estate
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and third parties
• Drive automation and standardisation across endpoint services
• Perform other duties as required
